This special performance celebrates growth, courage, and the beauty of stepping into new experiences. Our dancers have worked so hard, and we are excited to share this unforgettable journey with you!

Showcase Details

Date: May 30, 2026
Location: Charles D. Owen Middle School
Showtime: 3:00 PM

Audience Doors Open: 2:45 PM

Dress Rehearsal

Dress rehearsal will take place the same day from 1:00 PM–2:30 PM.
professional photographs will be taken during rehearsal.​​ The Pre-Ballet classes are to arrive by 2:20. 

​​

Dancer Arrival & Check-In

All dancers should arrive a few minutes early for dress rehearsal (1:00 PM), fully dressed in their costume with hair and makeup done. *Pre-Ballet arrive at 2:20.

​​​

A volunteer will be at the backstage door to check your dancer in and escort them to their dressing room.

​​​

For safety reasons, only approved volunteers are allowed backstage or in dressing rooms.

​​​

All dancers should bring a filled water bottle for the day and a healthy snack (such as a protein bar - nothing messy).

​​​​​

Please note: Dress rehearsal is closed — no parents or caregivers will be allowed in the auditorium during this time unless given special permission.​​​​

Performance Expectations

All dancers will rehearse on stage during dress rehearsal and remain prepared for the performance.

​​​

Dancers Ages 7 and Older:

• Must remain backstage for the entire show

• Will be dismissed after the show ends

• Must be checked out at the backstage door after gathering all belongings

​​​​

Pre-Ballet & Younger Dancers

After dress rehearsal (2:20 - this will mainly be time for pictures), pre-ballet and younger dancers will remain backstage with volunteers until it is time to perform.

• After performing, they will sit with their caregiver during the rest of the show

• At the end of the show, they will be brought back on stage for bows.

Costume & Preparation Notes

If your dancer is in multiple dances, they should arrive in the costume for their first performance.

Additional costumes, shoes, and accessories should be packed neatly in the provided garment bag.​ *Please return your garment bag and hanger with your costume after the show.
