Performance Troupe
About
This unique group of dancers perform various styles of dance around the community during the school year. No auditions required. Any dancer who has at least one year of dance experience can join!

The Looking Glass Dance Troupe was formed to give students more performance opportunities and to further dance training. So much can be learned through performing. It creates a special bond with the group members, gives dancers a chance to gain confidence in front of an audience, and allows for connecting to the community through the arts.

We are thrilled to have the program and allow students to have opportunities to connect with their peers and to be able to express themselves creatively.

Rehearsals
Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays from 6:00-7:00pm.
Sometimes we will stay late to work on choreography and/or add additional rehearsal times to prepare for a performance. We try to accommodate schedules as much as possible for extra rehearsals.
Cost
Dance Troupe monthly tuition includes a technique class and is $95/month.
It is strongly recommended that your dancer take the Ballet/Modern technique class on Wednesdays, but they may choose from any of the following:
-Ballet
-Hip-Hop
-Acro
It is also encouraged for Dance Troupe members to take multiple classes. We offer multi-class discounts as well as sibling discounts.
There will also be a one-time registration fee of $25 and a t-shirt fee for new members of $20.
The costume fee is typically around $55 (which covers costumes for the entire school year's performances) and dance shoes are typically around $30.

*Each year we are able to offer limited scholarship spots. Please reach out if interested in more information.
Dress Code
Dancers must wear black leggings or black sweatpants for rehearsal along with either a leotard (any color) or tight-fitting top (any color). Dance shoes are required.
*If a dancer does not have the required Dancewear for the first class or two, they may still attend. We have extra dance shoes for borrowing. Socks or bare feet are also accepted during these first two rehearsals.
